The Weyerhaeuser Headquarters landfill is a limited purpose landfill (LPL) regulated under WAC 173-350.  This landfill takes some industrial waste as well as construction and demolition waste and some commercial waste. 

Cowlitz County has agreed in principal to purchase this land fill  and permit it under WAC 173-351 as a municipal landfill. 

The original Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for this landfill are available in the link bar on the right side of this page as well as the Cowlitz County application for permitting as a Municipal landfill.  Since the documents are quite large they have been split into multiple volumes.
