2011 COST SHARE PROGRAM

The Cost Share Assistance Program was designed to help land owners who are significantly affected by noxious weeds.  The Cowlitz County Noxious Weed Control Board understands how financially bearing control of noxious weeds can be on everyone’s budget.  This program aims to help ease the cost of maintaining the value of your property by controlling noxious weeds.

There are a significant number of noxious weeds in our county, but a few species are especially devastating to our natural resources.  It is critical that we come together and control these species from spreading and further impacting our fragile economy.  The noxious weeds that are covered for assistance under this program are:  Tansy ragwort, Canada thistle, Japanese knotweed & Yellow archagel.
