The Prosecuting Attorney, Cowlitz County’s chief law enforcement officer, is elected every four years and is responsible for:
  • Bringing criminal charges in both Superior and District Court

  • Enforcement of unpaid child support obligations

  • Acts as attorney for the county, its elected officials and its employees in official matters.
