Planning for the Future
A critical element of successful transportation services is
planning what will be needed in the future. This is not only
knowing when to resurface a road or repaint a line, though that
is complex as well. Transportation planning involves considering
where and how populations will grow, the type of traffic that
might be expected, how soon more lanes might be needed or a new
traffic signal.
Although it may seem that things suddenly are happening, in
reality it generally takes at least a year for many projects to
become a reality. The documents below are the roadmaps,
literally, to how to get to where our managers think we need to
be. If you are interested, we encourage you to review the
documents and we are ALWAYS open to suggestions.
