Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Deputy Dave Anderson passed away Thursday evening, January 13, 2011, playing basketball while off-duty. Dave was a corrections officer for 10 years before coming to work for the Sheriff’s Office in 2008. Dave is survived by his wife, Cowlitz County Corrections Captain Amy Anderson, and their children. Anyone who wishes to send cards or letters of condolences to the Anderson family can send them to our office, located at 312 SW 1st Avenue, Kelso, WA 98626. We will deliver them to the Anderson's personally. A fund has been established at the Longview branch of the Bank of America to help the Anderson family. Donations will go towards offsetting expenses such as funeral arrangements and other expenses in this unexpected time of loss. 100% of the donations go directly to the Anderson family. Donations can be mailed or dropped off at the Bank of America branch located at 1425 Maple St Longview, Washington. Checks must be made out to the DAVID ANDERSON TRUST FUND. They may also be mailed or dropped off at the Sheriff's Office. |
