Judge Bashor
graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 1980 and received his law degree from Lewis and Clark College of
Law in 1983. He received his
Mediation Certificate from the National Judicial College in 2009.
Judge Bashor served as a Superior Court
Commissioner from 1999 until May of 2011. He Chairs the state Felony
Judgment and Sentencing Forms Committee and was appointed by the
Governor to the Child Support Worksheet Workgroup in 2011. |

January 1997 - present. Judge
Warning graduated from the University of Washington in 1976 and from the
University of Washington School of Law in 1979. Judge Warning served as
Dean of the Washington Judicial College in 2006 and as both Secretary
and Trustee to the Board of the Superior Court Judges Association and is
currently the immediate-past President of that organization. Judge Warning was
appointed by the Governor to the Sentencing Guidelines Commission in
2009. |

Judge Evans graduated from Brigham Young University in 1995 and from
Seattle University School of Law in 2001. Judge Evans served as a deputy
prosecuting attorney for Cowlitz County in both criminal and civil
matters and practiced privately in criminal defense, family law, and
civil litigation. Judge Evans serves on the Cowlitz Wahkiakum Legal Aid
Program board of directors. As District Court judge, with the support of
many community members, he created and ran Cowlitz County's first mental
health court. |

November 2011 - present. Judge Nitteberg-Haan graduated from Central Washington University (BA � cum
laude) in 1984 and University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1988
(JD). She previously served for over twelve years as a part-time
Judge/Commissioner pro tem in Skagit County. Her prior
experience also includes public service as municipal/litigation
attorney, deputy prosecutor and public defender, as well as private
practice in primarily criminal, personal injury and family law.
She serves as the City Attorney for the City of Longview prior to her
appointment to the bench..

Commissioner Maher
graduated from Cal Poly (BS) in 1969, San Jose State University (MS) in
1976, and Gonzaga University (JD) in 1980. Commissioner Maher
joined the US Army in 1969, retiring as a Colonel in 1999. He has been
in private practice since 1980. |

Commissioner Kubin
graduated from the University of Portland in 1982 and from Willamette
University of Law in 1986. He attended the Washington Judicial College
in 2004 and received a Mediation Certificate from the National Judicial
College in 2007. Commissioner Kubin has served as a part-time Superior
Court commissioner since 1999 and District Court judge pro tem since
1998. His experience in private practice includes family law, personal
injury, and criminal defense. He now focuses on mediation and
arbitration. |

2004 - present. Commissioner Mottet was born
and raised in Longview. She graduated from the University of Washington
in 1976 and subsequently graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University
of San Diego School of Law. In her solo legal practice, she specializes
in Family Law. She served for many years as Prosecutor for the City of
Kalama and as Municipal Court Judge for the City of Woodland.

Baldwin - Commissioner Baldwin graduated from the University of
Washington in 2002 and from Gonzaga University, School of Law in 2005.
Her experience in private practice includes family law, estate planning,
juvenile criminal matters, dependency matters, mental health cases,
landlord/tenant matters and civil litigation. |

2011- present. Commissioner Tierra Busby graduated
from the University of Washington Jackson School of
International Studies in 1995 and from the University of Oregon
School of Law in 1998. After law school, Commissioner
Busby completed a 2-year Judicial Clerkship, and was then
accepted into the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program for a
year-long position abroad. She returned to Washington in
2001 and served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for Cowlitz
County in criminal, juvenile, and child support matters and went
on to practice privately in the areas of juvenile defense and
child advocacy, family law, estate planning, and guardian ad
litem services.
